Daily Standards Feature
IAB has been featured on The Daily Standards today. If you navigate to the some of the forms now, you may notice that their pre-existing form is back up with bad old html. There have been some problems with passing in some of the new fields, so IAB decided to use the old form until they can work out any bugs. You can still get to it from the link on the daily standards. The site was launched under a fast timeline so some sections are still in beta. Any comments are welcomed.

Recent launches
I just recently finished launching some websites. IAB launched a couple of weeks ago, and we are still updating several pages of it while we continue. It uses one of the lastest ALA articles on CSS dropdown menus. Also the directory structure was setup to encourage simple URLs where possible. All pages should validate with XHTML transitional.
The other site launched was myViaOffice. MyViaOffice.net is IDI’s latest ARRAY Express product. ARRAY Express is a self replicating website sytem for members of an association, company or membership. Any way we are moving to an all standards based system for this engine. We used a standards based design for the websites created by ARRAY Express for myViaOffice.
Using CSS has made is much easier in creating different layouts for the user. Currenly the user can choose from four different layouts. When a user selects a different layout the only change in the code is the stylesheet. This makes for a efficient and flexible system.

NASA Mission Names
It is amazing to see that pictures of the red planet Mars. It is great that we can all share in the excitement of this new frontier with the technology today. Everyone can get the photos of Mars just as soon as they are released. NASA has a done a remarkable job, on the other hand, NASA needs to work on choosing better names for the their missions. “Spirit” and “Opportunity” sounds like a type of cologne, if it where me it would have been something more edgy, like panther, viper or sabortooth. Anyway it is great accomplishment and exciting to watch, NASA TV has never been more exciting. Visit the mission website for more on the mission.
First color image of Mars taken from the rover “Spirit”.
