Array Express……Super Express
The team, here at IDI, recently launched the new ARRAY Express website. The site’s design and secondary pages were done by Cameron Moll. I helped out by doing the home page CSS/XHTML code, the initial code for the secondary pages and setting up the basic structure of the css files. Cameron took it from there to do the secondary pages, and it turned out great. It is yet another CSS/XHTML site to the core.
We have the goal here at IDI to start making everything rule’s based design. We do it because it is just not the coolest thing to make a tableless website, but it really has benefits that outweigh the latter method of web design. Jeffrey Veen has written a great article about it.

outside the USA
I ran across lycos.es the other day and found it to be using CSS for layout. Unfortunately lycos.com is still using tables, when will they make the change. I wonder what the percentage of foreign sites have started the transition to CSS compared to the percentage of US sites changing?
