Recent launches
I just recently finished launching some websites. IAB launched a couple of weeks ago, and we are still updating several pages of it while we continue. It uses one of the lastest ALA articles on CSS dropdown menus. Also the directory structure was setup to encourage simple URLs where possible. All pages should validate with XHTML transitional.
The other site launched was myViaOffice. MyViaOffice.net is IDI’s latest ARRAY Express product. ARRAY Express is a self replicating website sytem for members of an association, company or membership. Any way we are moving to an all standards based system for this engine. We used a standards based design for the websites created by ARRAY Express for myViaOffice.
Using CSS has made is much easier in creating different layouts for the user. Currenly the user can choose from four different layouts. When a user selects a different layout the only change in the code is the stylesheet. This makes for a efficient and flexible system.
